I've moved county in the UK, do I need to register to vote again? Is there a way to change your address? Yes. You need to be registered at your current address, so you can vote locally. It's the local council that actually runs elections - keeping up the register, booking polling stations, printing papers and doing the count - so your new council (district council if you also have a county council) needs to know. There's no need to deregister where you were before - the local council there will undoubtedly work that out for themselves. You can register online https:// Of course you can move between countries within the UK! It's all the UK, and wherever you go, you just register at your new address in the same way. You're too late if there is a local election where you are on 4 May, and you have until 22 May to do it in time for the general election.
Why are illegal aliens allowed to vote in California? they can't - Who Can Vote in California All Registered Voters Can Vote in a Primary or General Election To register to vote in California, you must be: A United States citizen and a resident of California,
I turn 18 the day of the 2018 elections, can i vote? You can only vote if you are able to register before the election date and there is no reason why you shouldn't be able to register to vote on the day
What caused Hillary Clinton to lose the 2016 Presidential election? H. Clinton lost the election because there are now more states with voter ID laws than states without voter ID laws. The states w/o the laws no longer have enough combined Electoral College votes to decide the Presidential elections. For example, CA lets imaginary people register to vote by mail and then vote by mail. Other no-ID states (such as NY) are almost as bad. THAT is also where the extra "3,000,000 votes" H. Clinton got came from. CA and NY could have let all 30 million illegal aliens vote and it would not have changed the result of the election.
Which of the following is the most accurate generalization about voter registration? The point of voter registration is to ensure that only people entitled to vote can vote, and they don't get away with voting more than once. For example, when I vote, I go to the polling station, give my name and address, the clerks tick my name off on the register and give me a ballot paper. (I'm British - we don't use voting machines, we use pencil and paper because it's best and it works.) If I tried to vote again at another polling station, they just wouldn't let me because my name isn't on their list. Now work it out for yourself! There are many countries in Europe where you don't have to register to vote, because you have to register where you live. Move house and you have to do that. But having done that, the authorities know about you and where you are, so there's no need for separate voter registration. It's only in countries that don't do that that you need to have registration just to vote. For example, as it's just had a general election, Germany - if you live there, you have to be registered at the local Einwohnermeldeamt. There is an American lady on youtube married to a German, they live in Germany, and she made a video about the German voting system. She couldn't vote because she's not a German citizen and the Einwohnermeldeamt knows that. But of course her husband could. This result in a lot of comments about voter registration where the Europeans in countries like this explained it just doesn't exist and the Americans failed to get it!
Why is it so hard for Libtards to believe there are Mexican-Trump-supporters out there? It's simple once you understand how it works. Mexicans are Catholics and Catholics are by nature Conservative thus they will almost always vote for a Conservative candidate in any election. Americans could quite easily control who gets to vote by simply extending the Revolutionary idea that only a person born in the US can become president to only a person born in the US can vote in any and all elections. Sounds a bit harsh but then it's not my problem, because here in UK we have a very strict voting system. Anyone and everyone is encouraged to register to vote and once registered they can then vote or not as they choose. Me and my better half vote by post, saves us the bother of having to go to the polling station on election day. One other outcome of voting by post is that it actually encourages more of us to vote. At least that's been my understanding of voting in all and ever election over the years I've been a registered postal voter. Hmmm ain't democracy fun? duh

The 2017 New Zealand general election will always belong to Jacinda Ardern Beyond the question of who forms the next government, New Zealanders will look back on this election campaign as a turning point Six weeks ago, New Zealand’s election campaign was limping toward a foregone conclusion. The centre-right National party looked a shoo-in for a fourth term (matching the legendary 1960-72 administration of Keith Holyoake ), and prime minister Bill English was on track to find redemption (he was party leader when National suffered its worst-ever election defeat in 2002).
