Why do British people want Ireland to leave the EU? The British people have never demanded that the Republic of Ireland leave the EU. The British public voted to leave the EU and the government are obliged to follow the wishes of the British public. No matter what people think or believe, Britain is not suffering because of the Brexit vote. The pound may have reduced in value, but quite frankly that helps our exports, making them cheaper for foreign countries to purchase and increases demand for our products. Therefore the cheaper pound is helping the economy, not weakening it. The only downturn a weaker pound has is that it becomes more expensive for British people holidaying abroad. The pound does not buy so many Euros or Dollars. So the weaker pound encourages people to holiday in the UK, and boost revenue in our own country. It's a win win. And America and Australia are falling over themselves to start trade deals with Britain now that Brexit is under way. Why would they rush to make a trade deal if Britain was sinking? Skeptics only like to see dark clouds on the horizon, even when the dawn promises a sunny day.
Why is the Yahoo mafia flying a kite for a publication that is a standing joke in Britain? Brexit would be a DISASTER for the UK, and here's why; the EU currently has Trade Agreements AS THE EU with the rest of the World....if the UK leave, they will no longer be covered by the terms of those agreements, so will have to renegotiate new deals.....and since the UK only account for about 10% of the volume of trade the EU do with the rest of the world, Brussels will make VERY clear that the terms of any new trade agreement any country makes with Britain MUST be less favorable or risk losing the EU's other 90%.... Which would YOU choose in those circumstances? Blighty is completely & utterly buggered if you pull out, old son! (Even worse, many of the businesses that YOU probably still think of as "British" will relocate to the European mainland rather than risk losing their EU business.....I'm guessing you PROBABLY are not aware of how many of them are "foreign-owned", are you? Businesses & brands like Harrods, House of Fraser, HP Sauce, Manchester United, and many more! http://)
Why do American liberals care about Brexit? What issues are at stake for us? The EU represents globalism to many. Before Brexit two EU nations, Britain and France, were permanent members of the UN Security Council. This gave considerable clout to just one region of the world that through the EU trade cartel was able to dominate trade. Brexit blunted the advance of Western European dominance and put the U.S. on a more even playing field.
Will Britain be able to get a "hard Brexit"? Or will it be blocked? Obviously Britain voted to leave the EU on 23 June. However, some remainer politicians are trying to either keep us in the single-market ("soft Brexit") or stop Brexit all together. Will Brexit be blocked? Or in other words: what are the chances of Brexit being blocked? If the Supreme Court rules that...
If my new Jeep sits for a month will it hurt it? Would be good to start it and move it once a week if only for a short distance to help prevent the brakes seizing on and it not sitting on the same part of the tyres. Unfortunately the battery my run down too low to be able to start it after a month if it is anything other than quite new. When you do start it make sure that it runs for long enough for it to come up to full operating temperature. So be prepared to have to take the battery off to charge it and even do so after 2 weeks if you can.
Still no Brexit strategy from Teresa May. Other than Hard-Brexit. Who will benefit from a Hard-Brexit? Closing ranks, love that. BUUUUUUUUUUUT, Nobody will benefit from a hard Brexit, that's the whole point of having negotiations, but if the EU wants to play hard ball from start to finish, meaning hard Brexit, so as to punish Britain as an example to other wavering EU members states (is that how they close ranks), then so be it, hard Brexit it will be, BUT we're not the ones who'll suffer the most as we don't have a land border with Puntins Russia, thankfully. Sometimes, just sometimes it might be a good idea to look further than the end of your nose, sometimes. But good luck, because your need it.
