CE Would you agree that the Police and Emergency Service response to today's incident at Westminster was well handled?
The BBC is saying the speed which the Armed Anti Terror Police responded to the incident is an indication of how far things have come since the Lee Rigby murder, do you agree?
Lee Rigby was killed walking down London street near a barracks. Todays attack was on the Houses of Parliament, so I would expect it to be protected by armed police and the response to be quicker.
It seems their response was all that we could hope for and more.
At times like this we should remember and celebrate those who guard our security.
I was a paramedic for 8 years and I have dealt with far worse
and I worked in Belfast in early 1990s and seen much more
Get over it big deal ?
All routine stuff and made into a bigger deal because it is
paedophile HQ Westminster happens all the time in such
places as Iraq and Palestine and Syria and they cope well
All standard procedures nothing to make a fuss about really
and you see all the blue lights and drams for a mere pub fight
nowadays in Britain a lot of it is overkill and more than needed
Been there done that and I'VE GOT DIPLOMAS and AWARDS
I guess, but it wouldn't have happened at all if not for the actions of your masters (our enemies).
No other view @ police services
Hard to tell at this stage, one was killed and the 2 other people killed so far were hit by the car so not much they could do about that.
Seems so iv only just switched on the TV news..
Yes, the police were superb and acted brilliantly saving many lives. The police took the correct actions as the picture at that time was unclear.
Yes, very well handled, considering the circumstances, though it's nothing less than I'd expect.
I hope the intelligence services don't end up getting the blame because they've done a marvelous job at foiling attacks like this - if they were only half as competent we would've seen several more undoubtedly, but as I've been saying for months, it only takes one to slip through the net for there to be total chaos.
It was handled but it is funny and silly to compare it to lee rigby this was outside the Houses of Parliament where security is higher than almost anywhere in the world.
Yes. They shot the darkie quite quickly, just like they did that Brazilian guy a couple of years back. Only of course, this one managed to kill and injure some people first.

An important advantage of E911 emergency service is
improved (reduced) response times for emergency
services. Also close coordination among agencies
providing various emergency services is a valuable
capability provided by E911 service.
If there was a final spur needed to get the police off the dime,
it came in the realization that the emergency 911 system was vulnerable.
The 911 system has its own specialized software, but it is run on the same
digital switching systems as the rest of the telephone network.
911 is not physically different from normal telephony. But it is
certainly culturally different, because this is the area of
telephonic cyberspace reserved for the police and emergency services.
