How NASA Found 7 New Earth Like Planets In a Solar System 40 Light Years Away
Detection of Trappist-1 ...At about 40 light-years (235 trillion miles) from Earth, the system of planets is relatively close to us, in the constellation Aquarius.
How close would a black hole have to be our solar system to put us in danger? That would depend entirely on the MASS of the black hole. The closest known black hole to the Solar system is.a thousand or more light years from the Solar System Earth and the solar system are NOT in danger. Black holes DO NOT "suck." "..The closest black holes yet discovered are several thousand light-years away. They are so far that they have no effect on Earth or its environment. A supermassive black hole appears to inhabit the center of the Milky Way galaxy, about 27,000 light-years away...." We've been creating micro black holes in linear accelerators since 2011, Earth is STILL here. They evaporate VERY quickly.
PLANETS –Do they escape orbit? No planet has ever orbited a star in a "perfect orbit". Even the Earth's orbit is changing, and the average distance from the Earth to the Sun is increasing by about 1 inch per year. There's no threat that we will be flung out or our orbit by that - The Sun will expand into a red giant and engulf the Earth long before we get far enough away to break our orbit. Can it happen to other planets? Yes, absolutely. In fact, there were probably many proto-planets and possible very young planets in our solar system that were thrown out of their orbit by the gravitational pull of other planets. The planets we have today did not form in the orbits they are currently in. In fact, it's believed that Saturn formed closer to the Sun than Jupiter, but the gravity from Neptune caused them change positions and move them out farther from the Sun than they were. And other solar systems have come and gone in the 13.8 billion years that the Universe has existed. It's pretty much a fact that it's the norm for stars to have planets around them - We're just starting to find them, and have found several thousands already. And with all the galaxies that exist and have existed, and all the solar systems in those galaxies that exist and have exited, you can practically guarantee that many planets have broken free of their orbit in one way or another, and became rogue planets.
May Lives are surviving beyond the Solar system? We notice that titan has a amosphere, venus, mars,Jupiter, saturn, neptune,Uranus ,we can't survive on these planets, maybe mars, but some sort of lifeforms might live on these planets might prove that these discovered planets outside our solar system light years away might habor life similar to ours within a zone where the earth is from the sun
How do you think the formation of Earth was similar to that of other planets in the solar system, and how may have it been different? The Earth and all it’s sister planets arose from collecting material from the disk of material that formed our solar system. All the planets grew - and sometimes crashed into each other, growing as more and more material fell on them. When the sun began burning, it gave off solar wind - blowing the lighter materials out to the outer solar system - where these materials were collected by the planets beyond Mars... So, while all the planets probably began as rocky worlds, the outer planets collected gases to become the large gas giants we know today.
Astronomy... Does any really believe that someone, something, many light years away would find would find our little nothing planet earth? 50 years ago, I would've said no... And, equally unbelieving, the same would be true of *us* finding planets around *other* stars.... However.... To date, we've found about 3,000 confirmed planets. About 10% of those are 'Earth-sized' worlds and larger. For a couple of years, NASA had been working on the "Terrestrial Planet Finder" (which was cancelled), but the technology exists (or, is within reach) of finding Earth-like planets around other stars... Now - if *our* technology is there... where would another world's technology be if they're far more advanced than we are?
Since NASA is always lying about everything, what are they waiting for to claim they found life on Mars? NASA does have a fetish about life on Mars. And life on other solar system objects. But life (as we know it) requires warmth, water and food. There is no place in the solar system other than this earth where all 3 of those things are known to occur together. So it follows there is no life on Mars -- no matter what NASA says. Well -- that is unless we find a place on Mars where water, warmth and food exist. We are not even looking for such places at the moment. NASA does happen to have the technology and the hardware to go looking. So the ball is in their court. And we wait for any developments. Be prepared for a long wait.
Using AI, Nasa discovers another solar system like ours; has 8 planets The eight-planet system -- the largest known outside of ours - orbits a star called Kepler 90 some 2,545 light-years away
Nasa find first alien solar system with as many planets as our own Kepler scientists team up with Google AI specialists to detect eighth planet orbiting distant star Scientists on Nasa’s Kepler mission have spotted an eighth planet around a distant star, making it the first alien solar system known to host as many planets as our own. The newfound world orbits a star named Kepler 90 which is larger and hotter than the sun and lies 2,500 light years from Earth in the constellation of Draco.

Google just helped NASA find an alien planet thousands of light-years from Earth And we're tied, folks.  Thanks to Google and some fancy artificial intelligence, we now know that our solar system is just slightly less unique than we may have thought.  Scientists have discovered an eighth planet circling the sunlike star Kepler-90, 2,545 light-years away. This means that our solar system and Kepler 90 are now tied for the most number of known planets within a star system.  SEE ALSO: Now you can own NASA's Golden Record on vinyl So yeah, maybe we're not that special after all. Smallest Star Ever Found Could Have Earth-Like Planets "Finding a star can at times be harder than finding a planet.”
Artificial intelligence finds solar system with 8 planets like ours A solar system with as many planets as our own has been discovered with the help of NASA's Kepler space telescope and artificial intelligence, the US space agency said Thursday. "Our solar system now is tied for most number of planets around a single star," NASA said in a statement. The eight-planet system -- the largest known outside of ours -- orbits a star called Kepler 90 some 2,545 light-years away.

Hidden planets may surround closest star to our Solar System, astronomers discover Astronomers are investigating whether Proxima Centauri, the star nearest our solar system, may host an entire system of planets after they discovered it was surrounded by belts of dust. One Earth-like planet was discovered orbiting the red dwarf last year. Dubbed Proxima b, it resides in its star’s habitable zone and is roughly the size of our own world.

Planet Nine does exist in our solar system: NASA The elusive 'Planet Nine' does exist, and may be 10 times the mass of the Earth and 20 times away from the Sun than Neptune, NASA scientists say. Planet Nine could turn out to be our solar system's missing 'super Earth' - a planet with a mass higher than the Earth's, but substantially lower than the masses of ice giants Uranus and Neptune. The signs so far are indirect, mainly its gravitational footprints, but that adds up to a compelling case, they said. "There are now five different lines of observational evidence pointing to the existence of

CORRECT ANSWER: Scientists estimate that that in 5 billion years, the sun will become a red giant and it will extend out as far as the orbit of the Earth.
What tools could be used to view a planet in a solar system that is 20 light years away from Earth? a telescope
What are the eight planets found in our solar system?
What planets can be found in the solar system? inner planets and gas giants
How many planets found in the solar system in 1850? It has been suggested that you want to know how many major planets were discovered during the year 1850. If so, the answer is "none". However, if you want to know how many were discovered up to the year 1850, then if you exclude the minor planet Ceres and any moons, the answer is 8, as follows: Mercury Venus Earth Mars Jupiter Saturn Uranus Neptune (Discovered in 1846)
Can planets of the solar system be found in the Big Dipper? No, the big dipper (or Ursa Major) is not in the area of the sky that the planets move through. All of the planets, sun and moon are more or less on the same plane, so they all move in the same east/west line across the sky. Ursa Major is more to the north.
What are two classes of planets found in the solar system? Inner and outer. Planets inside the Asteroid Belt including Mercury, Venus, Earth, and Mars. And the planets outside the Asteroid Belt; Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Dwarf Pluto.
Where in your solar system are dwarf planets found? In the Kuiper Belt, apart from Ceres which is in the Asteroid Belt.
Where are most dwarf planets found in our solar system? All dwarf planets in are solar system are located beyond the asteroid belt. Beyond Pluto there are very few visible dwarf planets. They are still orbiting our sun however due to their long distance out they do not reflect enough light to be seen.
What are two types of planets an be found in our solar system? There are the four smaller, denser, inner, rocky, terrestrial planets. then there are the four outer gas giant planets.
How much matter in the solar system can be found in the planets? About 0.13% of all mass in the Solar System
Are there any planets like earth outside your solar system? Most likely, although we have not found any. Because we cannot directly see any planets (we only see their effect on their star to know they are there), it is difficult to determine if a planet is like earth or not. _______________________________ Given the fact that the other stars are tens of light years away, it's amazing that we can determine ANYTHING about extra-solar planets, and yet, we have found over 400 already. And more amazing things are coming; the James Webb Space Telescope will be far superior to the amazing Hubble. We may yet be able to detect Earth-like planets! And THEN it
How is the earth different from other planets in the solar system? It's the only planet that has water.
How is Earth different from eight planets in this solar system? There is a major difference from our planet and the other which is that our planet is the only one that is habitable for life
Is the earth one of the planets in the solar system? Yes, it's the third.
Which planets seem like earth in your solar system? Venus is the closest planet to Earth in terms of size and distance from the Sun.
Are all planets in our solar system like Earth? No. Not at all. All the planets are different, and so far, none have been deemed suitable for life as we know it. Most scientists agree that Mars had water on it a long time ago, and there is even some evidence from a meteorite that fell to Earth from Mars that it may have once had life on it like Earth in its early days. But, it is mostly thought to be devoid of life.
Are volcanoes found on some planets and some satellites in the solar system? Yes. There is one or several active volcanoes on Venus, there may be on Mercury (Mercury is being mapped close-up for the first time as we speak), there is one enormous extinct volcano on Mars (Olympus Mons) and there are several satellites among the Jovian planets that have active volcanoes. Some of them are much different than the volcanoes on earth. It is believed there are volcanoes on the Saturnalian satellite Titan that erupt liquid ethane.
